The Scholarship Committee had their inaugural Scholastic Service on April 30, 2017. The speaker was Deacon Bruce Mack from Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, NC who is also the Dean of Advanced Manufacturing and Public Services at Cleveland Technical Community College in Shelby, NC. His message was titled: Quitting Is Not an Option. He did a stellar job of telling our youth to not give up and to keep God in front and they will be able to overcome any obstacle that confronts them in today’s society.
